Tim has spent 23 years in the financial services industry, most recently as Executive VP at Folio Dynamix. He was Founder and CEO of Summit Advisor Solutions and Senior VP at AssetMark Investment services. Tim has deep expertise in working with advisors in the turnkey asset management platform space; he was a top consultant for decades before developing, growing and ultimately selling his own technology platform company. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in marketing as well as his Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 securities licenses. He is very involved in the Dallas community, where he is based.

Van Peursem

Life Director

Nate has more than 13 years of life insurance distribution experience, and he is knowledgeable in both annuity and life strategies. As part of The RIA Team, he lines up perfectly with Mike Whorton’s holistic approach to each client, evaluating the ins and outs of hundreds of policies in order to recommend what might best fit into an individual’s financial plan. “I understand the process, I sat in front of clients for years myself. I will always strive to give our RIAs all of the research, tools and information they need,” he says. Nate holds a B.S. in business from Northern Arizona University, where he was quarterback and captain of the 2003 BigSky Championship Team. Prior to that, he led Glendale Community College to their NJCAA National Football Championship victory in 2000. After Football was over for Nate he has filled his competitive edge by becoming an avid golfer.
